On January 27, the “New Life, New Fashion” art works exhibition kicked off at Xiangtan Cultural Leisure Square in Yongshun County to celebrate the Spring Festival.
In 2022, artists from Yongshun County created a batch of fine art works depicting folk customs and natural scenery of Xiangxi, eulogizing the glorious history of the CPC and showing the achievements of civilized practice in the new era. Many works participated in exhibitions or won awards at provincial or prefectural level.
Young people, the elderly and art lovers enjoyed the art works attentively, and discussed the pictures with their friends. “The high-quality paintings on display reflect the dramatic changes taking place in Yongshun. The familiar scenes and characters in the pictures excite people. Thank the artists for providing us with a visual feast,” said the citizens.
A total of more than 70 works of art lovers in the county are on display, covering oil paintings, Chinese paintings, watercolor paintings, etc. The exhibition will last for 4 days and is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors.
